I-270 Closed In Both Directions

HYATTSTOWN, Md. - Interstate-270 has been closed in both directions because of power and utility lines that are draped across the highway.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer says the lines came down just west of the interstate along route 109.

Piringer says it appears a truck dragged the lines down, but an official cause has not been given.
